In general there are two types of different cards: The “classic/online” cards and the “micros/offline” cards! Before you order a lot of new cards, please make sure to choose the right type!

Here we have some informations about the cards – this may help you to find the right type!
In case you still don’t know afterwards, please contact your distributor of your PMB-System.

How to choose the correct card?

Admin / Cleaning / Staff

Choose the appropriate card that you need (ADMIN, CLEANING, STAFF)
The cards are using the DESFIRE EV1 2K technology
You can use this cards for all systems

Customer Cards – without any hotel interface

If you need customer cards and you DON‘T use any hotel interface (Micros, etc.):

All cards are using the DESFIRE EV1 2K technology
Use this cards if your system is not directly integrated to a POS system
- PMB CARD CLASSIC (front and backside PMB branding)
- CUSTOM CARD DARK (backside black PMB branding, front customizable)
- CUSTOM CARD LIGHT (backside white PMB branding, front customizable)
- CUSTOM CARD (front and backside customizable)

Customer Cards for MICROS/POS systems

If you need a customer card for a MICROS/POS system you need some special cards

The card are using the MIFARE CLASSIC 1K technology. Attention: You can’t use some of the other PMB customer cards because MICROS requires MIFARE CLASSIC and a special encoding on the cards!
